Sautéed Green Beans with Furikake is a healthy side that can be enjoyed all year long. You can use regular green beans, but haricot vests are tender, cook faster, and you don’t have to trim them. The lemon brightens the dish and the furikake adds an umami flavor to the dish.
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs haricot verts green beans
- 2 cloves garlic, halved
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp furikake
Over medium heat, heat olive oil in a skillet or fry pan. Warm garlic in oil for one minute. Stir in green beans, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and toss beans with furikake.
