Museum of Ice Cream

Museum of Ice Cream

Alec & I took a trip to millennial mecca: the Museum of Ice Cream. I first learned about the museum from Queen B, so when I heard the exhibit was coming to town, I quickly added it to my SF bucket list.

After work/class on Friday night, we took the train downtown to the exhibit. The museum itself is in an old beautiful bank building on Grant & O’Farrell and is made up of different themed rooms and interactive exhibits. The museum ambassadors were incredibly energetic & did a great job of getting the guests stoked on the history of ice cream, creative art installations, & tasty treats from vendors like Salt & Straw and Bi-Rite. After a busy week of work & school, we checked our adult brains at the door & enjoyed a night of being kids! I loved the Sprinkles Pool & swing sets, which were chock-full of visitors doin’ it for the ‘gram.

Tickets for SF sold out within minutes, but I have a feeling MOIC will release a second round of tickets like they did in LA. You can sign up for updates here.

  • My spouse and I absolutely love your blog and find almost all of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content available for you? I wouldn’t mind composing a post or elaborating on a lot of the subjects you write related to here. Again, awesome blog!
