I’m excited to share some of my favorite music on my March music playlist with you! As an avid music lover, I always have jams on to help me relax & focus, whether I’m in the kitchen, working from home, or in the car. Music has a profound effect on my mood & productivity, so I often to curate playlists for all types of activities, like cooking, working out, or writing.
In high school, my friends & I would burn CDs for each other, which is pretty dorky looking back on it, but also kind of sweet. Without sharing playlists, I wouldn’t have listened to Ja Rule in 8th grade (I literally received a copy of Pain is Love on Valentine’s Day, which is hilarious) or Surfer Rosa my freshman year of high school (I thought I was cool, you know, wearing a plaid uniform, penny loafers, & navy eyeliner). The point being, music is one of my favorite ways to connect with people. Since I don’t even know where I could play a CD, Spotify playlists will have to do. Enjoy, friends!
